My wife’s older son is a film maker and through him we know several others in the business. When I married her in 2004, I was told they were working on a short film with chess in it. My offer to help was turned down, apparently they were too far along in the process. When I saw it at a local film festival, the big oops was the white rook and black queen were just staring at each other eyeball to eyeball for several moves on the h-file.

Don’t you just hate it when people who don’t know anything about chess try to make something with it?
I see chess boards set up incorrectly all the time in store windows. There is suppose to be a white square in the bottom right corner. Often times I see the king and queen placed on the wrong square.
