Believe it or not, Knights of the South Bronx is still not available from A&E on DVD. A copy should be in every school library in the country. Information about this movie is at

HI, I agree. I am the chess coach of PS70 the school the movie is based on, we were left many vhs copies of the movie, which i show to all my classes at some point in the year.

There is a dvd out there. However, it is a promo and you can purchase it on ebay most likely. for now im sticking with the vhs and waiting for the dvd…

BTW, thanks for pushing for the dvd as well

I’ve got a copy. I bought it off of ebay. There were several copies available for sale.
