Greetings,
My chess season has ended, and it is time for a break from the newsletter. However, there is some exciting news to report before I go.
The Colorado Springs Chess Club has been pardoned from their dungeon! The club officers met on the 17th to discuss a new location. The club will no longer meet in the basement of the Acacia Hotel and will enjoy the air-conditioned upper-level in either the ballroom or library. Also, the club is welcoming the Right Move Public Chess Club members into the fold. You can read about all the details in Paul Covington’s article in the newsletter.
In addition, I have included some results from Jerry Maier, some comments from Andy Rea, and my only upset victory this year.
Thanks for reading, see you next year.
Paul Anderson
