We are now meeting at Cups in Fondren on Tuesday evenings starting at 6:30. While there you are not required to play Coffee House chess.
I had my first entry to USCF rated chess in Jackson, MS back in 1989. Glad to see there still is a club.
I was probably there at that time. Have already attracted someone who saw us playing and mentioned he used to bring a chess set there. This is the first “meeting” since we started plugging it so we’ll see what happens.
