Yes, Carlsen is currently World’s #1 ranked player at the age of 19 with an ELO rating of 2810, which is 2 points shy of Kasparov’s current rating. If he gets 2813 or more then he will be the highest, current rated player of all time!!! Give him a year or 2 and he will also be the World Champion!
