Some of the smartest girls in America competed this weekend in Chicago at the Kasparov All Girls Championship. One of them, Swathi Senthil, is my student and I am over the top proud of her performance. She tied for 4th through 9th place (8th on tiebreak) in the U14 Division. Congratulations to her and to all of the young women who played in this tournament.

Submitted for rating while the awards ceremony was still in progress. 322 playes. Tthere were 7 experts and 13 A players.
