Yesterday [9/13/2023] there was an article in the Guardian newspaper that covered the chess scene in NY City. This was not the serious rated chess scene, but rather the more casual chess meet up scene throughout the city. Very interesting and informative. You can likely best find it by putting “No Mansplaining” into a search engine.
