How can i present my usfc membership when i go in for tournaments can anyone tell me how i can provide this proof please cause in my local area there are some up and comming tournaments.
Most tournaments now have on-line capability. Personally, I look up and verify everyone.
Many other tournament directors do so as well.

If we were given an email address, you should already have received an email giving your USCF ID and expiration date. Otherwise, you should receive a membership card in the mail in the next week or two.
You can also see your membership status at msa.uschess.org
Many if not most TDs will use that URL to check someone’s membership and rating, either before the tournament or during onsite registration.

Until your membership card arrives, you also may want to note your USCF member ID (15192523). While your last name is pretty distinctive, some TDs like entering people into tournaments by ID number if you have it. (And it is really absolutely needed when trying to figure out which of the 71 John Smiths or 48 Jeff Smiths, especially when there are several in the same state.)
