Old Book

I found a rather old Chess Book(I had never heard of) Printed in 1956.
Title: An Introduction to Chess Moves and Tactics Simply Explained.
Author: Leonard Barden
He was apparently the British Chess co-Champion in 1954.

The book seemed to me to be a very good book for teaching children (of different levels) the game of Chess. But I have never heard of this particular Book, nor seen it used as a teaching tool.
I just wondered if anyone else had come across it at anytime? Just wondering.

I also pulled that up after I found the book and got home. I was more wondering if anyone knew about the book and was using it.
But thank you very much for the link. Perhaps it will help others.
