Happy Mother’s Day to all the chess moms out there!
My mom attended every scholastic chess tournament in which I played. With her undying support, I never lost a chess game. I dominated the dojo! Thanks mom.

In addition, I wanted to make amends with one of the most active chess Mother Hens in Colorado Springs. It is no secret that we haven’t always seen eye to eye, but I certainly do appreciate all the hard work this person does for chess and hope my silliness didn’t go too far. I often see this Mother Hen followed by 4 little chicks at the library on Wednesday nights for free chess lesson, studying with a couple more chicks throughout the week, and gathering the entire brood together for chess on Thursday and Friday nights. I published a couple of losses from this person already this year, not realizing I had doubled up. I haven’t even published one on mine yet this year. So, I promised Earle that I would published all my losses from this week to make up for it. Here goes:
