Isn’t Tournament Membership still around?

How do process them as a TD? I would think you enter them when rating a tournament in TD/Affiliate Support Area?

Second question: Is there a Win/TD vs Swiss Sys discussion thread? I would think so. If you can link please do so.

Quick recap if you don’t want a link (steps 1 and 2 are only for totally new players).

  1. In TD/A enter a player as a non-member.
  2. Change the players’ ID in the tournament file from blanks to the new one obtained in step one.
  3. Upload the tournament
  4. Validate the tournament
  5. Check the tournament membership box for the player paying a tournament membership fee
  6. Validate the tournament again
  7. Rate the tournament (assuming there were no remaining uncorrected errors)

If you forgot step 2 then you can change the ID after step 3 and continue on.

JTP (if available for a section) is almost the same except that in step 5 you instead check the JTP box for the section, and it can even be done prior to the first validation.
