Arcadia Chess Club has a new website! The website features a fully searchable member list, crosstables and rating information for all of our past tournaments, head-to-head records for all members, and much more.
The Arcadia Chess Club meets at 6:30pm Mondays in the Senior Citizens building, 405 S. Santa Anita Ave, Arcadia, CA. Continuous rated tournaments, casual play.
That is one sweet website - very well designed on a quick look. In fact, you have only one major lack: The designer isn’t listed anywhere that I can see right away… I would hope that whoever was listed might pick up some work doing other clubs’ sites.
Heck, if I’m ever in Arcadia, I’d want to stop by.
Thanks! Modesty prevents me from saying who designed the site, but thank you for your kind comments. If anybody else is interested in a site, I’m sure something could be arranged. There’s some pretty nifty stuff going on… the site is set up to automatically scan the latest Arcadia Chess Club tournament data from the USCF website, parse it (including all player data), and then save it in a database. It means adding a tournament to the site literally takes only seconds, and then all of the player stats are updated automatically too (win/loss/draw records, best tournament performances, best wins, worst losses, etc).
Thanks again for your comments. I’m glad you like the site.
