FIDE said the players in the resumed Candidates tournament will not be in complete isolation. They will be required to take the PCR test 72 hours before the first round – but no testing after that. Their temperatures will be monitored remotely.
Didn’t a couple of players pull out before the event was officially suspended? How are they being handled?
I think one pulled out before it started and was replaced, but I’m not aware of anyone pulling out after it started. As to the player who pulled out, he’s out of luck.
