?How do I authorize a TD for an affiliate

I’m usually very stubborn with computers, and I hate to admit when one has beaten me.

I’m trying to authorize a TD to submit rating reports for my affiliate. I’ve spent way too long searching through various pages for the link, and I haven’t found it.

Please post the link to take me to the online form to request a TD be authorized to submit reports for my affiliate. The closest I’ve come is this in the FAQ:
I need to have a TD authorized to submit events through my affiliate. Can you add him to the list?

In a word, no. The US Chess office does not have the ability to make changes to the list of TDs authorized to submit events using your affiliate ID. Only the affiliate can do that, by using the online form in the TD/Affiliate Support Area.

But there’s no link in the FAQ to these online forms.

Click on “add affiliate contact” then search under “relationship details” for “tournament director of.”

That’s exactly what I was looking for. I can’t tell you how many times I got to the screen last night and saw the link to add a relationship and said “but why isn’t there a link to add a director?”

Civi-CRM uses relationships to link member records to each other, there are multiple relationships assignable for each member linked to each affiliate, they control who can update or do what for that affiliate, including adding authorized TDs (which is itself another relationship.)
