How do I request an affiliate change for a tournament?

I would like to correct the affiliate associated with a tournament to different affiliate. Is this possible? What do I need to do?

Once the event has been rated, the chief TD needs to send any corrections to Walter Brown and/or Chuck Lovingood.

You will need to provide enough information to make it clear exactly what event to change and what data to change in that event.

Out of curiosity, why do you need to change an affiliate?

Did the TD not have access to submit under the affiliate, and instead filed the tournament under a different affiliate that he/she had access to?

(And even if that is what happened, does it REALLY matter what affiliate submits a tournament other than state championships?)

The explanation provided the office, which they accepted, was that this is a new affiliate that has been running events under another affiliate (with their consent), but now that they’re set up they wanted those events under their own affiliate ID.

In general in order to change the affiliate or the chief TD some kind of explanation is necessary.
