Would appreciate any info on what is required and what coverage is available through USCF; annual cost, individual cost for one event, your experience with the insurance broker and any helpful information.
Go to website and get a quote; takes about 5 minutes. To purchase insurance with a credit card is totally automated and takes about 10 minutes. I think the process does require a USCF affiliate number.
‘Additional Insured’ is $25 each which is a good rate. Also has available Officers and Board members coverage at what appears to me to be a low rate.
I purchased additional ‘medical’ insurance which was available in increments of $5000 for a trivial additional amount. Pays the medical bills of anyone injured at my tournaments.
Never had a claim so I can’t comment on service or willingness to pay.
