I found out that Lichess.org has it’s very own interface, so I downloaded it. I played a wonderful game that I’m debating if I want to post it or not.
Such as this, I’m not familiar with the app and closed out the game after it asked me if I wanted to analyze it.
I have no idea how to get that game back. The program clearly said it saved it, but I can’t figure out how to bring up the list of games it saved.
Anybody know how to do that?
I suspect it’s lost forever. I don’t think it saves games locally, and since I was playing in anon mode, there would be no practically way to retrieve it off the lichess.org server.
I looked for pgn files and nothing for lichess. I found the lichess folder and there are zero files in it. Just a couple empty sub folders in it.
Too bad. It was 15+15 time control and I spent most of it thinking, especially at one particular point where I took about 8 minutes, at least, pondering the board. It was refreshing being able to ponder the board like that. I got so used to 10+5 time control over the years, that I really lost the whole “pondering the board” thing.
Anyway, over time, I’ll try to get used to playing longer and longer games.
