It’s raining on this Labor Day here in Hampton Roads. I had planned on going to the beach at the base in Dam Neck with my wife & kids, but alas, Mother Nature put the kai-bosh on that idea. Three-minute games on FICS gets old too, so I’m wondering if anyone’s looking for a game today (and perhaps regularly) to play via text message. No time limit, unrated, but preferably around my rating. I’m 1600-ish, but will play anyone Class C to Class A. Just a friendly, leisurely game on a poopy day.

I hope you have unlimited texting, a 50-move game will rake up a lot of fees! :smiley:

Exluding pre-paid phones like Cricket, I’d say the vast majority of cell phone users, if they use texting, have unlimited texting. Even Cricket allows 10 messages per minute if I remember correctly.
