So far we’ve had the Mayor of Skokie come out and do the ribbon cutting at the North Shore Chess Center.
We currently have a 21 board simul going on being done by GM Mesgen Amanov.
We have ICC blasting away with the highest rated games being consistently shown on our new 50" plasma TV’s being fed to them wirelessly. The A/V sponsorships all by our friend South Park Kenny!

GM Amanov won 20 games and drew one game!
G/15 tournament with 20 players under way right now. 3rd round of 4 about to start.
Group lesson to start at 7pm given by FM Gauri Shankar who will review games from the Chicago Blaze 3rd season!
Matt Pullin won the g/15 tournament with a perfect 4-0 score.

I played in an NCD event elsewhere and squeaked out a tie for first after getting a lucky, undeserved draw in the last round.
