New directives from the USCF Executive Board

The USCF Executive Board has (by a 7-0 vote) passed a motion that all posts in the USCF Forums must now be identifiable by the real name of the poster. Posters must place their USCF ID in their profile before they will be permitted to post.

As soon as the software can be changed, the USCF ID of a forum member will be displayed as part of the public information in that member’s profile.

The Board has also ordered the moderators to delete all posts that the moderators consider objectionable. Specific guidelines on this are being formulated for review with the Executive Director.

Per the Executive Board’s directive, USCF IDs have now been added to the information on each post.

Posters must now have a valid USCF ID in their member profile, it must be for a current USCF member, and the email address being used for the Forums must match the one in the member’s USCF record.
