I followed the link to the current article, and at the bottom of the page I found this;
Want more? Past “Just the Rules” columns can be viewed here.
I followed that link and it did NOT take me to a page with past articles.
There is another problem in this area, too.
If, after typing your response, you select Preview, it brings up your preview but it does NOT return to the page where you can submit your response.
I thought I remembered this happening before, so I did a control-A (select all) and control-C (copy to clipboard) before choosing Preview. Sure enough, it did not go back to the page where I could submit.
So I had to start all over. When it brought up a blank page for me to enter a new response, I just hit control-V to paste my clipboard-saved copy, so I didn’t have to re-type everything.

When the new US Chess site was installed I had the same problem. I discovered two things: (1) Do a search for Just the Rules where the link takes you (click on “Chess Life Online” to get the search bar). I will try to fix this for future columns. And (2) many of the past columns lost their formatting when the new interface was installed. Perhaps it is time for an Amazon book with the past columns?
Try this link (https://new.uschess.org/category/search?combine=Just+the+rules) - does it work?
