I’m not up on all the latest junior records, but I suspect that Rachel Li (age 9)'s result, tying for First in this 80 Grand Prix Point tournament, might be one for the record books:

She has gained about 1000 rating points in the past 3 years. I have been watching her progress since I first saw her at the Dallas Chess Club. Her brother Ruifeng Li, is a 17 year old GM.
I remember seeing her when I played in the World Open Action 2017 in Philadelphia. She came in 1st place in my section (U 1800) with a perfect 5.0 /5.0 score. She was just 7 year old then. Amazing.
Rachael Li just won the Bronze Medal at the U10 Girls in the World Youth held in China. Her one defeat was to Alice Lee, from Minnesota, also 9 years old, and nearing the NM master title. Alice won the Gold, btw.
I believe that was their first encounter. I wonder how many times they’ll play vs each other in the next ten years?
