Please don’t hijack this thread for a debate on the Troubles. It’s most unseemly. This thread should be about Sevan.
And it would be a perfect epitaph for Sevan.

I only mentioned The Troubles in my post noting that I had very good conversations with Sevan on non-Troubles matters. Rob injecting a comment about right and wrong side of Troubles was and is unnecessary. I’f he’d like to delete his comment, I’ll be happy to delete my reply to his comment.
Any further comments about “The Troubles” will be moved to a new topic in US Chess Issues.
And now I’ve seen a second post on the subject. I guess one is the cemetery and one is the funeral home.
Sevan’s Memorial is Monday Feb 22:
Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home
185 E. Northwest Hwy Palatine, IL 60067
9am-11:30am
Daughters plural
If you want to be precise, daughters’ (plural and possessive). But we’re just numbers guys.
Towards the end of Chris Wainscott’s obituary, featured on the US Chess homepage, one can find a link to the fundraiser for the Muradian daughters’ education.

I knew Sevan as a friend while I was living in Chicago. He has about the best reputation of anyone I’ve known in chess and it’s deserved from what I knew of him. This was way too soon. I am so sorry.
