site to create and store analysis

I would like to create and store some opening lines at a web site, with annotations and symbols such as +/=, so that young players at my club (or anyone else) can review them. What site would you recommend for this? Thanks.

An interesting challenge. I don’t believe that is possible through FICS, the only server I’ve had enough recent experience with to know about. Possibly Playchess can do that??? Dunno about ICC or chess.com.

Were I to do it, I’d look at using WordPress with the Embed Chessboard plugin (which is based off the pgn4web toolset.) In fact, I have done it before, see: http://laughingvulcan.org/TCCCBlog/?p=1434 For a non-test example see http://laughingvulcan.org/TCCCBlog/category/events/current-tccc-championship/ , and look a bit more than halfway down the page.

Anyway, it works very well for me.

I’m just using the plugin with the default settings… Should customize it with better colors.
Edited to Add: Actually, the settings for Embed Chessboard make colorizing very simple, and I just changed the layouts from a very monochrome black/white to a more attractive setup.

And re-edited to add… Welcome to the forums!

I do not know if there is any site where you can set this up yourself. It has been awhile since I was last there but the site chessvideos.tv has a nice selection of open work available. Maybe if you contact someone there something can be set up, or maybe they will add that to the current work already available.

I don’t think that this is what you have in mind, but maybe the Fritz “Let’s Check” feature would be of interest.
uscfsales.com/fritz-13-let-s-check.html
“… With [the ‘Let’s Check’ feature] Fritz 13 users can join a world-wide community that will put together a giant knowledge base for chess. Whenever you analyse a position to any meaningful depth with your chess engine Fritz 13 will, if you allow it, send the main line and evaluation to a central server, to be shared by all participating users. …”
