Sometimes, in a rush, stuff happens. I applaud both of you for being reasonable in your resolution.
I try to check stuff like that very very carefully, but when I do make a mistake, and I have, I appreciate (as a TD) a person who doesn’t go all nuts on me.
Those look like the standard 4 tie breaks, but the listing isn’t in the order of standings. There’s a separate operation in WinTD which computes and prints standings in tie break order with ties all the way through the tie breakers tagged with things like
If you do a player list instead of a prize list then you can add tie-breaks but not sort by them (some organizers put up the penultimate cross-table as a player list with tie-breaks and sorted by score and rating - useful if you want a cross-table with the tie-breaks and without the pairing number). That may have been how an erroneously sorted list could accidentally get to the person doing the awards.
