My girlfriend just completed her 25th game. Does she have a “provisional rating” or an “established rating”? She was told that in order to get an established rating she has to first play 25 games, but her rating is listed with a /P25 on MSA.
This is important because she needs an established rating in order to take the Local TD test.
I did a quick google search on USCF provisional established, and it looks like provisional is 25 or fewer games. Establish starts on the 26th rated game. It looks like she needs 1 more game.
For purposes of taking the local TD test, does it matter whether it’s an established Quick rating or an established Regular rating?
The rules consider the established Regular rating only.
