A proof-of-concept test of a PDF ratings supplement page with space for all 6 ratings

I was looking at the program that generates the PDF format of the monthly, cumulative and annual ratings lists and got to wondering if it would be possible to squeeze all 6 ratings on the page and still keep the two-column layout.

So I created a quick proof-of-concept that has 6 columns of ratings data in each column by just replicating the 3 OTB ratings. I had to make the type even smaller, which might limit its usefulness.

Now, the question is, is this worth changing the production program to pick up the three Online ratings? Does anybody actually use the PDF pages we generate each month?

Here’s a link to a short sample:

I’m sure somebody does, but I can’t imagine why anyone would use the PDF pages over a database lookup of one sort or another.

Not too long ago Newspapers around the world discontinued their chess columns and problems because scoundrels were going too far w/ the ink. Be inefficient and allow one column at a time it might be easier to catch people gaining the system. As for the PDF pps, I did reference them three times. Going to this DISCOURSE sight I spend more time to be social, don’t think your work goes unnoticed. Appreciate it.
