Analyzing OTB games

Quick question - I would like to analyze some recent OTB games in which I have played. Is there a computer program or website that allows you to upload PGN files for analysis? Can you recommend the best way? (i.e. websites, computer programs, forums)

Thanks everyone for your help.

A free one is chess.com. http://www.chess.com/analysis-board-editor. Otherwise, Chessbase is the most popular desktop for-pay program.

The “best way” for one person might not be best for another.

I myself, for example, would never bother to upload my games for analysis. I’d rather do it straight from my computer.

If you don’t wish to pay for a software program (Chessbase or Fritz, for example), there are many free chess GUIs that are just as good if not better. Scid vs. PC or WinBoard or Arena, are just a few of the many programs that will allow you use an chess “engine” to analyze chess games.

Stockfish, a free engine, is now arguably the strongest chess engine available, free or commercial ranking right up there with the latest version of Komodo and Houdini.

Download of free Arena

I used to use Arena a lot. Then I bought Fritz and used Fritz a lot.

Then one day I tried to use Arena again, and I am embarrassed to say I could no longer figure out how to get Arena to do the things I used to make Arena do.
I have not tried Arena again since then, because I think either its UI design or its documentation is too deficient.
