New to the forum… just did a search for “atlanta” and turned up nothing. Anyone know if there are any clubs meeting around Atlanta? Preferably on the North side.

There are two major clubs in Atlanta. The biggest is the Atlanta Chess Center in Scottdale (near Decatur). It has rated G/30 on Tuesday, G/10 on Friday, and just restarted G/20 on Thursday. It is also open on other days except Monday. It has regular one day G/45 events and weekend swisses as well.
Chess Place in Marietta would be convenient for you geographically. I don’t know their offerings as well. The proprietor also runs KidChess and is certainly focused in that area, but I know they have adult offerings as well. I have played in their one day G/45s several times.
