The FIDE Arbiters’ Commission has recently published a call of interest to licensed arbiters (FIDE Arbiter or International Arbiter) for the 44th Chess Olympiad to be held August 5-18, 2020 in Moscow, Russia.
If you are interested, please send your application by email before January 10, 2020 to chairman.arbiters@fide.com with the following elements:
your chess arbiter resume
the list of languages that you can speak and your level of proficiency
which role you would prefer in the team

FIDE typically provides for the event staff room and board for the event period and a travel stipend (generally for economy travel). They also cover costs in related to the general assembly for national delegates, elected commission members, appointed commission councilors, and other FIDE officials like presidential board members and continental presidents.
Arbiters hoping to work the Olympiad would do well to be familiar with the FIDE Regulations for the Olympiad. Note that section 4.4 describes provisions for the arbiters.
