In the 1970’s I was a local TD and directed several small tournaments. Now that my family is raised I would like to get active in both playing and directing tournaments. Do I need to start as a Club TD?
If you were a TD that long ago, it is likely that the USCF’s records would not show you as having ever been a TD.
I suspect that they’d take your word about having had the experience and let you reactivate your local TD card if you can pass the test.
