If a TLA is online-only, not print, is there a way to edit it after submission? Thank you.
It seems, to edit a posted TLA,
TD must delete the posted one, then submit the edited version as a new TLA and wait for approval

I’ve passed this question on to staff for a response, as I was not involved in the redesign of the TLA system or its administration.
Staff response:
Any corrections for TLAs (online or print – if before deadlines) can be sent to tla@uschess.org, and one of the publications staffers can address it.
So that means there is no way for the organizer/TD to make those changes. That’s probably to ensure that the TLA conforms to policies and standards by making sure staff approve the final (or updated) version.
That doesn’t make sense to me - as best as I can tell, electronic TLAs go out immediately without any staff review (at least, I’ve seen one poor organizer send out 8 slightly different versions of a TLA in the span of about 1 hour, and I certainly hope no staff was involved in that review), so it’s unclear why an edit would require more scrutiny.
On the other hand, the overall system is consistent with the “you can submit a tournament for rating without any manual intervention, but you’re out of luck if you need to correct a result” structure.
Well, it was just a guess on my part.
I’d like to edit directly, too. For similar workflow questions, I was told by staff that someone reviews the TLA content before it reaches the website. It’s been true for me including the last two announcements I wrote. I submitted them within a few minutes. The near term event showed up yesterday. The event a month later showed up today.
Having administered a PTO website once, I saw bad actors submit a wide range of text you don’t want posted directly to a website. If someone could edit directly, the website would be open to such bad acts.
