How do I join a rated email correspondence chess tournament?
Go to the USCF webstore (secure2.uschess.org/webstore) and click on ‘register for a chess tournament’, that will bring up a list of USCF rated correspondence events, including several email events.
Thanks, Nolan. I was having a hard time finding that. Just registered for a swift quad. Hopefully it will start soon. Any idea how active the correspondence tournaments are?
I believe we have around 1500 active correspondence players, but I don’t know how long it takes to fill in a section of a specific event. You can contact our Correspondence Chess director, Alex Dunne, cchess@uschess.org and ask him.
