I do not seem to be able to navigate to “find rating/player” web page.
The place that I used to go for that lands on “reports and standings”.
Any suggestions on how to locate a player or check one’s rating at this time?
Go into your browser and clear the cache, that should fix the problem.
We don’t know what causes this, there used to be a message at the top of the reports and standings page about it, but people complained about having that message there, so we took it off.
Update: I’ve added a less prominent note about this to the bottom of the reports and standings page.
I’ve mentioned this issue to a few people I know who are web techies, they’ve heard of it but it is somewhat rare, it seems to be more common with pages that people hit a lot with different parameters, which would be consistent with the MSA search page. Nobody has a suggestion for how to prevent it other than ‘clear your browser cache regularly’. :sigh:
