does anyone know if it’s possible to merge (upload/append) SCIDs database with Fritz?

There’s probably lots of ways to do it. One way, for example, would be to simply save each database as a PGN file, and then merge the two PGN files into one. You can merge them in variety of ways, including the old DOS COPY command. After merging the files you simply load the new file into your favorite GUI and then save the file as a different format, if desired.
Ideally, after merging two or more databases, you’ll also want to remove any duplicate games.
