After 3 days of emailing member support with no response I am making a forum post. I spent 100 dollars to get a family plan and see no way to add the people in my household. I need help. Please consider making a better way to renew on the website as the member support email is not responsive.
The last time I asked about this, membership said this: “Once you purchase the Family Membership type 2 ($55.00) simply logout, and then log back into the account. You should now see an additional option to add family members by US Chess ID#
Once all ID’s are added everyone should have a new expiration date of xxxx-xx-xx”
I know of at least two families that followed this procedure with success. YMMV.
Thanks so much. That actually worked for 2/3 people in the house who already had IDs…now for the 3rd who has never joined. Get it together USCF it should not be this hard.
Creation of a US Chess ID is done before paying for it. If you complete step two (for a new member) but not step three you may have an ID that would work.
