A brave band of dedicated chess players met on July 4th to craft the greatest games in the history of this country for the July Mating Game (4SS, G/45d10, $10 entry, USCF, prizes). The final 2 rounds are this Tuesday. So, there is still time to join and be apart of the event. I would arrive early as this Tuesday is also the Pikes Peak Or Bust Rodeo Parade on Tejon at 6:30p. Parking will be tough. Arrive early and check in. Then you can watch the parade too.
