There was a mistake with the players that I’ve played on the event summary. Is there any number, or email address that I can call to fix this issue?
What event are you referring to?
Corrections to a rated event must come from the TD of the event, so you will need to contact the TD/organizer and have them submit a correction.
If you don’t know how to reach the TD/organizer, please contact Walter Brown (wbrown@uschess.org) at the USCF office.
Shouldn’t this topic be under “Chess Tournaments”?
Probably, but will the original poster know to look for it there? Let’s leave it here for a day or two then move it.
USATE. It said on the summary that corrections have been made, but it’s still a mistake. Also, my opponent is listed to not having played anyone in the tournament.
Oh, and I wasn’t to sure really where to post this. It said uscf “issues” so… I just guessed.
It’s not unusual for the USATE to have several sets of corrections made to it, it’s a large event. But the corrections still need to come from Steve Doyle or one of his section chiefs.
Since the original poster has seen my response, I’m moving this thread over to the Chess Tournaments forum.
