Most of the adults here who ordinarily post to the Forum are swamped with work. Did you have something specific that isn’t covered by the article, the web-site reports, and the MonRoi coverage?

I question your statement that there are over 1400 adult there, and many of the adults who are there either are not in the habit of posting to the USCF Forums, have no access to the USCF Forums while there or are a bit busy doing things like running the tournament or coaching their players.
Should the USCF spend money to send Jennifer (or someone like her) to the tournament just so she can blog about it for the weekend? Whose dues should that come out of?

Indeed it was good publicity. I did not see a follow up from CBS, and I don’t know how the team did. Perhaps someone from the NYC area could give us an update.
