Is there any place to play online quick rated chess? Does wcl offer this or icc? any info would be great.
I don’t think anyone has offered that opportunity in a while.
ICC is said to be ‘thinking about it’. My guess is that means they don’t see it as a drawing card for them.
Who is WCL?
ICC, USCF Quick rated play, has been dormant for years on ICC but I have good news. I expect, in the very near future, to announce QR’s are back!

WCL is World Chess Live. A relatively new site run by the ICC that merged Chess Live and the World Chess Network.
Chess Live appears to have stopped submitting QR events in May, as far as I can tell ‘World Chess Live’ isn’t even a USCF affiliate. (ICC is, but their last event was the USAT playofs in March.)
Please provide some details; will there be a requirement for a USCF member to also belong to ICC? or will this be covered under the USCF membership? Will only Quick chess be available? How will it be monitored?
