here is my situation: i am a new club TD, my club has just become affiliated, i do not have any pairing software (i do not feel the need for this at the moment). i am thinking about running my 1st tournament of just 1 or 2 quads. i have read the “9 easy steps for running a tournament pdf file”. i would like more step by step information on where and how to post the results and pay USCF posting fees?
I have registered in the td/affililate support area as the TD and also done it as the Affiliate. And i have added the TD as a person that can report for the Affiliate.
but i still need more easy step by step on how to enter the results from a quad on-line without any pairing/reporting software to do it with? and where to do this on-line? I also am aware of the 80-20td website, but it does not explain how to post the results without any pairing software.
any tips or step by step on how to post tournament results (and get rating updated for tournament players) would be appreciated.
thanks,
Lee
System Administrator’s Note: [i]The TD/Affiliate Support Area has the ability to create and edit rating reports online. One of the options when you click on ‘Tournament Rating Reports’ is ‘Enter New Tournament (using the online data entry form instead of uploading files)’. The online editing form is essentially the same form that the USCF office staff uses when entering events sent to the office in paper form, there are TDs who have run fairly large events (40+ players) and used that form to create, edit and submit their rating reports online.
For more information on TD/A, see the ‘Getting Started’ and ‘Frequent Questions’ documents at secure2.uschess.org/TD_Affil.
