It seems the current ratings estimator has a glitch. Put in 3/3 from a quad, including a win against a higher-rated player, and it says you lost 8 points…?

When I put in those numbers but leave out the age, I get an estimated new rating of 2000. When I put something in the age field (which I believe should only affect an unrated player), then I get 1971. Doesn’t seem to matter what I put in that field.
I tried the previous estimator, and it does not do that, so something is broken in the latest estimator.
I’ll look at this when I can, probably not until Monday.
Thanks, Mike. You would think players over 45 would get “age bonus points,” not the reverse.
Now if they won’t let me in the U-2000 section on Labor Day I will point to the calculator.
