I’m considering ways of coaxing students into rated tournament play and USCF membership. Can I get permission to forward a copy of the .pdf version of ‘Chess Life for Kids’ to prospects?
Any other ideas to promote/justify the cost of membership besides the national rating.

In the past Scholastic Director Jerry Nash (jnash@uschess.org) has included a few back issues to folks who request the CD of chess research. The level of academic rigor around the research has been discussed ad nauseum in other threads, but the point is that you can get hardcopy samples if you ask the right person.
