Is there any way for me to find out if I was on the list of TDs for a particular tournament or tournaments? There are a few that I worked on as a floor TD or back room TD that had many sections that don’t show up on my MSA. I am hoping to take my Senior TD test ASAP and need all the credit I can get. 
MSA was designed before the current credits tracking system was set up.
Prior to February of 2005, the only information we had on TD experience was the section chief and assistant section chief. We now have a total of five categories:
- Chief TD of tournament
- Assistant Chief TD of tournament
- Section Chief
- Assistant Section Chief
- Other assistants
However, MSA does not have all of this information, and because of limits in the MSA search engine we can’t add the ability to search for things other than the section chief and assistant section chief. (We tried it once, search times went from taking a few seconds to taking several minutes.)
You are responsible for maintaining your own list of TD credits for advancement purposes. Don’t depend upon USCF records to be complete or accurate.
Fine, I have my list of credits, but what if my claims aren’t backed up by your records? How can I find out what I’ve been credited with?
When you think you have enought credits send in your list to Larry Pond along with your request for whatever TD exam you need. If he has questions regarding any of your TD credits he will let you know.
