MSA format discrepancy (TD credits)

I was wondering why MSA shows different information depending on whether you search by tournament or by TD.

This one (search by tournament) shows the overall chief, overall chief assistant, and the section chiefs for U25, U18 and U12. A total of four TDs are listed (the overall chief assistant is one of the section chiefs).

This one (search by TD) shows the overall chief, overall chief assistant, and both the section chiefs and section chief assistants for U25, U18 and U12. A total of seven TDs are listed.

Neither show the section chief or chief assistant for Extra Games (who happen to be the same as the overall chief and chief assistant).

The one under msa_joomla is an older program that is no longer being maintained, but I thought we had eliminated links to it.

I have not looked at the internal records for this event to see what TD information it contains.

The path for this was via “Past Event Crosstables” on the home page. Then enter the ending date on the tournament search and select the event.

The path with more information was via “Player/Rating Lookup” on the home page, then select a player, then click on the “Tnmt. Dir.” tab, then select a tournament.

The event only had chief, chief assistant, section chiefs and section chief assistants. No additional TDs were submitted.
