Per current TDCC guidelines, how are Chief Asst. TDs credited? Is the credit given based on number of players, or is it one full (or 1/2) event credit?
What would be the results for a Cat C or Cat B tournament?

I am not sure I understand the question.
You get Chief Asst. credit for the category of the tournament (or category of a section of a tournament–like a “C” section credit within an “A” tournament) that you direct.
Tim, I think his question is along these lines:
X is the chief TD of an event, Y is the assistant Chief TD of that event.
It draws 120 players, so it is a B event.
However, does the Chief TD get credit for a 120 player event and the assistant Chief TD also get credit for a 120 player event, or do they both get half-credit for that event, which might drop it down to a C event?
No half credit in this case. Both the chief and Asst. get credit for a 120 player event.
The only fractional credits are for those “floor only” and “backroom only” gigs and even then it gets messy. Someday the TDCC will look at and rewrite those TD Credits.
so if they are looking for “B” credit for ANTD, and they are the Asst Chief. That requirement asks them to be the Chief TD of 10 “B” events.
I think it boils down to asking if the Asst Chief can claim that as one of his B Events or he is out of luck since he wasn’t Chief as the requirement calls for.
The USCF office doesn’t know who has ‘floor only’ or ‘backroom only’ gigs based on the TD information submitted with the rating report.
Out of luck.
Thanks Mike and Josh for clearing up my question.
So, there’s no advantage (in terms of ANTD credit) in being a CA in in any but Cat A2 and above, AND serving under an NTD.
Thanks for clearing that up for me, Tim.
