It’s been quite difficult to get a hold of a decent scorebook with all the bells and whistles, i.e., cells for “event”, “date”, “board”, “time control”, “opening”,“white’s and black’s” "name, rating, pairing, time elapsed, total of 90 moves or more, including a small board diagram. Can anyone point me to where I might find such or am I searching in vain?

Thanks in advance.

p.s. I was able to locate what I was looking for at chessusa.com item # 62-200 but their current offering was a modified version and not as pictured. The current one no longer has a column for time elapsed and two diagrams. Update your info, folks! looks sloppy and not professional.

In all the years of chess, never have seen a scoresheet with a cell with time elapsed. If they did sell one with time elapsed, it would be a nice for some players. If you are looking for a time control cell with 90 moves and diagram – it would be a huge scorebook. Not sure how many players would want 180 cells to place the time control down. As the cells for event, date, board, opening, rating have been more blank when I check them after the event.

It doesn’t completely meet your spec, but it comes darn close. Each game is allotted two pages, with room for up to 80 moves, a board diagram, space for notes, player names, ratings, event name, date, result, and opening. There’s no separate area for recording elapsed time, but there’s plenty of room alongside each move to do so. There’s also a table of contents in the front that allows you to compile a list of all the games, with columns for your color, opponent’s name, ratings, result, no. of moves, date, event, & opening. Each book is hardbound and holds 100 games. Cost is $8.95 plus shipping.

This merchant (chess4less) is the US distributor for the London Chess Centre, and I’ve ordered these scorebooks for my son twice now from them with no problems.

I bought these ones for the club and they are pretty good.

You might want to check out the nice scholastic notebooks at labatechess.com

I know it is hard to get the USCF Scholastic books. But do you need that book or will another Scor book serfice?

It’s actually Labate’s “Supreme” scorebook that has space for the move times and two diagrams per game. It’s at labatechess.com/store/produc … cts_id=113
If that doesn’t work, go to labatechess.com, click “supplies”. If that brings you to a page with “new products”, click “supplies” again and scroll to the bottom of the page.
