US Amateur Team East Crosstables??

Can’t find them on the USChess site. Maybe I have the name wrong. Does anyone have an affiliate number for the organizer-NJChess? Thanks

It usually takes them a few days to get the event rated, because they will process 75-100 memberships and this is, after all, the largest event in the country other than the scholastic nationals.

When it is rated, the event name will probably be something like ‘World Team 2010’.

An easy way to search for it is to go to the tournament search page on MSA and look for recent events in New Jersey that drew more than 1000 players.

For example uschess.org/datapage/event-s … nsize=1000

If you never rate this year’s USATE I will give you a good stogie and a free copy of “How to make patzers run to grab free stuff they don’t really want” by Sir E. Steven.

It’s the waters. Parsippany is too close to the sea. One cannot concentrate from the lapping of the waves against the facade of the business parks. Them’s the breakers…

Sounds like your tournament went as well as mine. :stuck_out_tongue:

Beyond description, Polly. I’ll bet your PR was higher than mine. The ballroom was even stuffier than usual, for the afternoon/evening rounds, but that does not begin to explain it.

Ah, yes. The sickening aroma from the hot-dog cart just outside the ballroom. That’s it…

It was rated Monday morning.

Nope! you got a 1/2 point more then me. But I did play board 1. The worst scores any of my opponents got was 3. My last round opponent scored 5.5 and my 2nd round opponent scored 5. Everyone I played had a good tournament. I’ll blame my results on my broken ankle.
