I don’t know if this question belongs in this forum or the Tournament Direction forum. I’m curious about why the Amateur East is not rated yet. My daughter didn’t play in that tournament but a number of her friends did and they picked up rating points. They are understandably concerned about having those points reflected in the rating for the April Supplement (cut off is this Friday) which is used for the Spring National Scholastic Tournaments.
The USCF can only rate an event after its been submitted.
I know Roger Inglis is working on the event, it appears he still has a number of membership issues to get cleaned up before it can be rated.
I assume you’re talking about the Team Championship, because the Amateur East is held over Memorial Day weekend.

As noted in another thread, this event is now called the “World Amateur Team”.
I also see that it has just been queued for rating, it should be rated within the next half hour and up on the website within a few hours under its new name.
Thank you. As I said, we didn’t go to the tournament because we always ski on President’s Weekend but I’ve heard people refer to it (inaccurately as it turns out) as the Amateur East or Parsippany.
Also note that the Playoffs for two years in a row now have been run on ICC.
Last year was not rated but Carol got me permission to rate them from now on.
Have a look here:

And in addition see the ICC info here:

and here:

In addition, I have stored the games, I believe, in the ICC liblist for those two accounts for posterity.
