win on FIDE rating report, draw on US Chess rating report

In a FIDE and US Chess dual rated tournament, is there ever a situation where a TD should report a game as a win for one of the players to FIDE for rating but report the game as a draw to US Chess for rating?

For an example, see the following tournament where the FIDE rating report shows a win for Vignesh Anand Jr. in his first round encounter with Sridhar Seshadri but the US Chess rating report shows a draw

There are situations where a game is drawn under US Chess rules but ends decisively under the FIDE Laws of Chess. For instance, suppose White has a king and knight, Black has a king and rook, and Black oversteps the time limit.

However, I question the validity of submitting different ratable results for such a game. The FIDE regulations require that a game that is FIDE rated must follow the FIDE Laws of Chess. Nothing prevents an organizer from specifying that his US Chess rated event will follow the FIDE Laws of Chess and still having the event be rated by US Chess.

– Especially if the game was in any round other than the final round. With two different versions of the results, you’d end up with two different sets of pairings for subsequent round(s).
